Albany State soccer goes down 4-0 to Lander University

The Albany State Golden Rams women’s soccer team lost their 12thgame in row when they fell to the Lander University Bearcats (4-0) on Wednesday in Greenwood, South Carolina.  The Golden Rams fell to (0-12) overall and (0-9) in the Peach Belt Conference while the Bearcats improved to (6-4-5) overall and (4-2-3) in the conference.  
 
Claire Regnault, Alaire Hodge and Haneen Tamim scored goals for the Bearcats.  Tamim finished with (2) goals in the game.
 
The Golden Rams finished with (0) shot attempts, (0) corner kicks, (14) saves and (4) team fouls.  The Bearcats finished with (28) shots, (15) corner kicks, (0) saves and (7) fouls.
 
The Golden Rams will return home to play Clayton State on October 22 and Dalton State College on October 24.
